What is Alastria
Alastria is a non-profit association that promotes the digital economy through the development of decentralised ledger technologies/Blockchain.
Alastria is an association open to all types of companies and organizations, our mission is to reach all sectors and contribute to the creation of an innovation ecosystem as diverse as possible.
The beginning of Alastria
The project was born in the middle of 2017. It is launched as Red Lyra in May and is formalized as a non-profit association in October 2017 with the vision to democratize access to Blockchain in our country and, quickly, opt for a multi-sector international expansion.
Alastria has a clear vocation to be a pioneering project of reference in the generation of new digital economy models. To this end, it promotes a self-innovation methodology that anticipates the needs of our society in relation to the use of products and services based on decentralized technologies.
From the triple helix to the Quad helix
The strategic approach with which Alastria evolves is based on the methodology of the virtuous spiral of innovation, growing with the collaboration of the private sector, the public administrations and the academic world: the three propellers generating and sharing value .
The Alastria innovation methodology adds focus to a fourth helix with the purpose of the interaction of the citizens; because they are the real engine of change for the digital economy to give maximum benefits to our society.
From one sector to multi-sector ecosystem
Alastria’s operating model is dynamic, evolving in a virtuous spiral to mobilize and energize its partners. Thanks to their own innovation methodology, they transform and use technology in a shared way. The continued increase of partners (of various sizes and economic sectors) allows Alastria to capitalize on all this knowledge obtained to interact, transversally, with the maximum of sectors and continue to scale internationally in Europe.
If everything progresses as planned, through the association, the 2020 can generate a dynamic of new services and products in a multi-sector ecosystem environment.
